Dr. Najam Wasty (1)
Najam has been playing polo for 16 years. The sport
of polo keeps him active and fit. Passing the ball is one of Najam’s
best skills. Watch the action around him when he is on the field. He
is also involved with
Donald Wasty (A)
Donald, a student and son of Dr. Wasty lives In
Basking Ridge, NJ. He has been riding as Long as he can remember.
This is Donald’s year playing polo. He’s looking forward to
traveling to other clubs to play polo throughout the year.
William T. (Billy) Paterniti (2)
Growing up in a polo family, Bill’s Polo involvement
has been going strong for 30 years. He is a fierce competitor and
enjoys playing to win with his talented teammates.
Antonio Gallardo (2)
Third generation polo player, originally from
John Kriege IV (-1)
John, a bay area native, is an accomplished Horseman,
who has competed in show jumping, cross-country, and three-day
eventing as well as polo. John
played on the USC polo team in LA. He is a pediatric occupational
therapist who also uses his ponies to work with disabled children.
John resides with his wife and three daughters on a farm in
***Dr. Wasty and his son Donald will be sharing a position during
the match.

Hesham El-Gharby (2)
Polo instructor, trainer and manager of Tinicum Park Polo, Hesham’s
polo experience began at the age of 12 in his native country,
David Halliday (2)
Dave has been playing polo for approximately
15 years and is one of the founding members of Tinicum Park
Polo Club. In the past, he has kept his polo skills polished in the
off-season at the indoor facilities at Valley Forge Military Academy
Polo Club.
Dave is a proud father of twins. In between parenting and playing
polo Dave manages the family real estate business.

Audrey is always the first to the field and last to leave, spending
as much time with her fine horses except when she travels to
Umpire

All registered
players are rated on a scale of -2 to 10 (higher the better). The
handicap of the team is the sum total rating of it’s players. In
handicap matches the team with the higher handicap gives the
difference in rating to the other team. There are very few 10 goal
players in the world. Although the word “goal” is used, it bears no
relation to the number of goals a player might score, only on their
ability.
